Sadako's story

Yesterday Ms Poonam told us about Sadako's story. It is very sad I nearly burst into tears. The story is about the bombings that happened in Japan. Millions of people died and only a few survived. Sadako was one of those who survived. After the bombings, the air in Japan was contaminated because of the chemicals.

One day their was a race and Sadako was participating. While she was warming up she fainted. Her parents got very worried and took her to the docters. The docter said she had got some kind of disease. The doctor also said that she may not live for long. Sadako was not allowed to go to school for a long time, but her friend came to visit every day after school. One day Sadako's friend came to visit and she told Sadako to make thousands of paper Cranes, because god might grant her wish for her to live longer. So she did just that.

Sadako still died while sleeping. Her family and friends were really sad. They knew she was such an active girl and enthusiastic. Every one in decided to build a memorial for her and inside hang up lots off paper cranes and that is what they did.

If that had happened to me I would have never been as active as Sadako.

Sadako's story

Mrs. Poonam told us about Sadako's story. It was a very sad story. I had tears in my eyes but I didn't want anybody to notice that (but Mrs. Poonam did).
I felt very sad for her and I think we really should have had more peace earth that time because lots of people died just because of two atom bombs. And I also think that we should also have peace NOW. I think that people who does not respect the rules of not fighting and sharing should be punished. So I wander what these presidents are doing on earth.
To have more peace on earth, we should not fight, but we should care, share, not complain, be friends and always should have a warm heart for all the people on earth. Even if you don't like them, you should learn how to like them. Even if the boys and the girls hate each other they should learn to NOT hate each other (even I have to learn how to not shout at boys).
