It was fun on the Internationalism day. We did lots of things. First, grade 1 till our grade performed songs, dance, plays etc. Then every body went back to their class and talked about the country they chose.
I think it was a little bit unfair because other classes had about one month to get ready for the Internationalism day but only our class had about one and a half week.
In the amphiteater, the prep went first, than grade 1 (smallest grade till biggest grade). We were last. We performed the play of Sadako Sassaki (and I was Sadako), a Japanese dance (which the girls performed, including me), a karate dance ( which some of the boys did), and a sad song of Sadako. I and Hoo Joo sang in Japanese and Abhilasha and Nayantara sang in English. Next, we all went to our class and presented about Japan. I and Victoria talked about Japanese culture.
After we were done I went to other classes but I saw that in other classes, people were reading their lines even if they had one month to practice, and we had learnt our lines and talked so much even if we had 1 and half week. And sometimes they were just saying ''Read the chart''and they told nothing about what they have reasearched. And I also saw that in grade 4 that people were even putting the wrong things on!!! They were doing about China and they kept Korean clothes and saying that this is Chinese clothes. And my mom got a little bit angry with the teacher of gr. 4. So I think we were the best ones in performing or showing in whatever we did/show.
